Christmas candleholders in gold leaf

Discover how to add a touch of magic to your Christmas decor by creating personalized candle holders.
You will need:
- Gédéo: Pack
of 25 gilding sheets
- Gilding
mix
- Flat
brush
- Clear glasses
- Tealight candles
- Newspaper or protective tablecloth

- Difficulty: medium - age 7 and up with the help of an adult
Step 1: Prepare your Workspace
- Cover the work surface with newspaper or a
protective cloth to prevent any damage.
- Make sure the glasses are clean and dry. This will ensure better adhesion of the gold leaf.
↵Step 2: Applying gold leaf
- Use the fine brush to apply the clear glue to the
areas of the glass you want to decorate. You can opt for simple patterns
or create more elaborate designs.
- Gently place gold leaf on the areas where the glue has been applied. Press gently to ensure even adhesion.
Step 3: Remove any excess
- Leave to dry completely. This may take a few
hours, so be patient.
- Once dry, use a clean, dry brush to gently remove excess gold leaf.
Step 4: Enjoy your Christmas tealight candleholders
- Place LED tealights in the glasses. Make sure
they are well positioned and secure.
- Light the LED candles and admire the festive glow
of your personalised candleholders. They add a warm ambiance to your
