If you're looking for a quality moulding plaster, choose our 1 kg Pébéo resin plaster, ideal for projects requiring finesse, strength and whiteness. With its exceptional hardness, it is comparable to polyester resins.This extra-hard, top-quality alpha plaster is lump-free and very fine, so bubbles don't form. It's so easy to use, you can reproduce any shape of object for guaranteed professional results.It sets quickly, becoming dry after just 15 minutes, and your plaster cast can be removed from the mould after 30 minutes. When mixing, cold water slows down the setting of the plaster, while hot water speeds it up.Our plasters can be painted after drying. If you'd rather colour it in, you can add a water-based acrylic paint colour to the plaster. This will create a marbled colour effect on the surface.Whether you are a professional, craftsman or student, we have several grades of plaster to suit your project.

Instructions

Precision plaster or hard plaster

Recommended mixing ratio:

2.5 parts powder to 1 part water.

Demolding: 30 minutes

Preparation of the plaster:

Pour water into a large container. Disperse the plaster over the entire surface of the water. Let the plaster absorb the water for 1 to 2 minutes without mixing. Then mix gently and allow air bubbles to rise. Never add water after mixing. Slowly pour the plaster along the wall of the mold. For complex shapes, empty and start a second time.

Tips :

  • Cold water slows the setting of the plaster, hot water or beating speeds it up.
  • To speed up the drying process, place the object in a microwave oven for a few moments.
  • Milk mixed with water will polish the object giving it a marbled appearance.
  • Add an acrylic color to the water to color the plaster in the mass. Spreading it in the preparation will give marbled effects.

Light plaster

Recommended mixing:

1.5 parts powder to 1 part water.

Demolding recommended after 30 minutes.

Gauging recommended:

3 parts powder to 1 part water.

Start of setting: 8 minutes

End of setting: 15 minutes

Demolding: recommended after 30 minutes
